(A) BRONCHIAL ASTHMA

Bronchial asthma affects the small respiratory tubes in the lungs, causing inflammation and spasms in the bronchi due to allergies. This results in narrowed airways and broncho-spasms, leading to breathing difficulties and prolonged breathlessness known as asthma. Hereditary factors play a role, but exposure to dusty or smoky atmospheres, strong fragrances, cold weather, tonsillitis, laryngitis, cold, and catarrh can also trigger the disease.

(C) PHTHISIS AND TUBERCULOSIS

Tuberculosis, a contagious disease, easily spreads through contact. Poor general health, malnutrition, and contact with tuberculosis patients contribute to its transmission. A micro-organism (Tubercle Bacillus) found in the patient’s phlegm is a causative factor, leading to lung ulceration, fever, cough, night sweats, weight loss, and anemia. Unani medicines like Jiwan Baksh, Sharbat-e-Ejaz, and Sharbat-e-Faulad may aid alongside routine anti-tuberculosis treatment.
