Both Endocrine and Exocrine glands release the substances they produce into our bloodstream. The Endocrine system produces hormones that regulate various aspects such as the mind, growth, development, metabolism, organs, and reproduction. Several glands together constitute the endocrine system, including the Hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and Pineal gland in the brain, the Thyroid and parathyroid glands in the neck, the adrenal gland on top of the kidneys, the pancreas behind the stomach, and the ovaries in women and testes/prostate in males in the pelvic region.
