Liver and Gall Bladder Diseases

(A) CHOLECYSTITIS & GALL BLADDER STONE

Inflammation in the gall bladder leads to inflammation and narrowing of the common bile duct, resulting in incomplete bile secretion towards the duodenum. Bile, instead of reaching the duodenum, starts to reabsorb in the liver and subsequently enters the bloodstream. The presence of bile pigment in the blood causes yellowing of the skin and sclera of the eyes. Dark yellow urine and light-colored stool are additional symptoms in this condition. Gall bladder stones can further complicate matters as stone fragments obstruct the bile duct, causing severe pain in the right hypochondriac region, radiating to the back abdomen. It is crucial to note that there is no conclusive evidence supporting the removal of gall bladder stones with medicine.
